Agent VM status

Read-only view of the sandbox where Coworkers run their tools, plus disk usage of the data volume.

For: Administrators (the admin ability) · Last updated

The Agent VM page shows the state of the sandboxed environment where your Coworkers run their tool calls, and how full the data volume is. It is a status readout: it has no start, stop or restart controls. You need the admin ability. Without it the page says "Viewing the Agent VM requires the admin role."

Open the page#

  1. Select Settings, then the Administration tab.
  2. On the Agent VM card, select Manage.

Status#

The Status section shows one line:

  • running (green dot) or stopped (grey dot). A company whose sandbox has never been started reads stopped.
  • The number of agent uids, as "N agent uids" or "1 agent uid". Each Coworker that has run tools in the sandbox has its own user account there, and this is how many exist.
  • The uptime since the sandbox last started, as "Xh Ym", or "Ym" when under an hour. It shows "—" when the sandbox is not running.

Below the line, a bar shows the disk usage of the host's data volume, the one durable volume that also holds your database and stored files. Under the bar, the left figure is "X GB used" and the right figure is "X GB total", in decimal gigabytes. This is the whole volume, not just the sandbox.

Refresh#

The page refreshes itself every 45 seconds. Select Refresh to update it now; it reads "Refreshing…" while loading. If the status cannot be read you see "Could not load Agent VM status."

Keep an eye on the disk bar. When the volume fills, stored files and the database are affected, not only Coworkers' sandboxes.
