Launching a survey
Launch the one-question WI Score survey, choose its audience and closing date, and share the link.
The WI Score survey asks one question, which takes under a minute to answer. The answers produce A, the Amplification Factor on the WI Score page. Open Survey in the top navigation to launch one or to see how the current one is doing.
Who can launch#
You need the manage_financial_inputs ability or the admin ability to launch a survey. If you
try without one, you see a message that launching a survey campaign requires the
manage_financial_inputs ability. Anyone who is signed in can open the Survey page, see the
status and copy the link.
Launch a survey#
When no survey has been launched, the page is headed Launch the WI Score survey. It states that responses are anonymous and that only aggregate results feed the score. The question is fixed: "When you use AI at work, which best describes you or your workforce?"
- Under Audience, choose Everyone, or Specific practices and tick one or more of your company's practices. Specific practices is unavailable when your company has no practices to choose from. Practices come from the practice recorded on your Coworkers.
- Under Closes, pick a date. It starts two weeks from today.
- Select Launch survey. With Specific practices it stays unavailable until you tick at least one.
- In the Launch this survey? box, check the audience and the closing date, then select Launch, or Cancel to go back.
A survey stops accepting answers at the start of its closing date (midnight UTC), so choose the day after the last day you want answers.
Share the link#
After you launch, the page is headed WI Score survey and shows the question, then:
- Status: Open or Closed.
- Audience: all, or the practices you chose.
- Responses so far: the number of answers received.
- Closes: the closing date.
- Days remaining: the days left while open, and 0 once closed.
- Share this link: the survey's address, with Copy, which then reads Copied.
Send the link to the people you want to answer. They must be signed in to your company to respond; see Answering the WI Score survey.
The Survey page always shows the status of your company's most recent survey.
