The context pane
Use the pane beside a conversation to see the Coworker's computer, the documents and files in play, and published artifacts.
The context pane sits to the right of a conversation. It collects what the Coworker is using or has produced in that conversation. Its header reads Context.
Show, hide and resize#
Select Hide in the pane header to collapse the pane to a narrow Context strip, and select Context to open it again. Drag the pane's left edge to change its width. Each section has its own header with an arrow; select it to collapse or expand that section.
Below the header, View followed by the Coworker's name and 's details opens the Coworker's details page.
Sections#
The Coworker's computer#
This section is titled with the Coworker's name followed by 's Computer. It shows a picture of the Coworker's screen when the Coworker is using a computer in this conversation. See The Coworker's computer. Before you open a conversation, it reads "Open a conversation to see the computer" followed by the Coworker's name "is using in it."
Shared Context#
Documents the Coworker drew on in this conversation are listed here by file name, one entry per document even if it was cited several times. Select a document to read its full text in the pane. Markdown documents display formatted; other text shows as plain text. For a document that came from a web page, View source ↗ opens the original page. Select ← Back to return to the sections.
Below the documents, a Files group appears once the conversation has files and lists every one of them. See Attaching files.
When the conversation has no cited documents and no files, the section says "Documents" followed by the Coworker's name "draws on in this conversation are listed here."
Artifacts#
Reports, tools and dashboards the Coworker publishes in the conversation are listed here by title and version, such as v2. Until the Coworker publishes one, the section says "Reports, tools, or dashboards" followed by the Coworker's name "publishes in this conversation appear here." See Artifacts.
When the pane updates#
The lists of files and artifacts refresh whenever the conversation gains a message. A newly published artifact opens in the pane on its own.
