The WI Score page

Read your company's WI Score, its Amplification Factor (A), the band it sits in, the tier breakdown and the quarterly trend.

For: Admins and anyone who supervises a Coworker · Last updated

The WI Score is one number for how your whole workforce, human and AI together, converts cost into output. Open Score in the top navigation.

Who can see it#

You see the Score link, and the page, if you are an admin (the admin ability) or you are the Supervisor of at least one Coworker. Anyone else who opens the page sees the heading WI Score and the message "This page is available to People Managers and admins."

The score#

The large number is the WI Score, shown to three decimals. Beneath it the page shows the formula: WI Score = (Output × A) ÷ Workforce Cost. The label above the page title shows the current quarter, such as 2026-Q4, and "company".

A is the Amplification Factor. It is the variable that matters: it only moves when people change how they work with AI. It comes from the company survey, and the Output and Workforce Cost behind the score are the financial inputs. If Workforce Cost is zero, the score shows 0.

Where A sits: four bands#

The Where A sits · four bands panel places A on a scale from 0.12 to 1.00 and names the band in the top right corner. A marker labelled with the value, such as A = 0.46, shows the position. The page notes that you should compare within your industry or against your own history, not across industries.

Band A range What it means
Lagging below 0.28 Most of the workforce is not using AI, or only asks occasional questions. The fastest path forward is broader exposure: more people trying AI on real work, more often.
Developing 0.28 to below 0.55 AI use is common but mostly transactional. The score moves as people use AI for multi-turn, iterative problem-solving.
Performing 0.55 to below 0.82 Most of the workforce works with AI collaboratively on a regular basis. Further gains come from making that team-wide practice and treating AI Coworkers as members of the team.
Leading 0.82 to 1.00 AI Coworkers are established team members alongside people. The score is sustained by keeping that collaboration deep across the whole workforce.

The page shows the guidance for your current band under the scale.

The A math, shown#

The The A math, shown table breaks A down by survey answer. It is built from one survey question, aggregated across every response; it never shows an individual answer. Each row is one of four tiers:

Weight Tier
0.00 No or rare AI use
0.25 Transactional
0.65 Collaborative
1.00 Co-Intelligence

For each tier you see its weight, its label, a bar, the percentage of people who chose it, and its contribution (weight multiplied by percentage). The last row, A — the Amplification Factor, is the sum of the contributions, to four decimals.

Each person counts once, with their most recent answer. See Answering the WI Score survey and Launching a survey.

The quarterly trend#

The J-curve, quarter by quarter shows three small charts across your quarters: A — Amplification, WI Score and Output. Hover over a point to see the quarter and value. Under each chart is a short statement of the trend: Flat, Rising or Falling over the period, or a note that only one quarter is on record. The page explains the idea: spend rises before productivity shows, so a flat score with rising A is progress, not failure.

The current quarter always reflects the live score. Earlier quarters come from the figures recorded at the close of each quarter.

The Inputs panel#

The Inputs panel on the right holds Output and Workforce cost. See Editing the financial inputs.
