Editing the financial inputs

Set the Output and Workforce Cost that feed the WI Score.

For: People with the `manage_financial_inputs` ability or admin · Last updated

Two financial figures feed the WI Score, alongside the survey. You set them in the Inputs panel on the Score page.

Who can edit#

Anyone who can see the Score page sees the Inputs panel and the current figures. Saving changes needs the manage_financial_inputs ability or the admin ability. If you try to save without one, the page shows a message that editing financial inputs requires the manage_financial_inputs ability, and nothing changes. Ask your administrator if you need it.

The fields#

  • Output (annual revenue) is the company's output as a number.
  • Workforce cost is what the workforce costs: salaries plus AI spend. When the company has a figure suggested from tracked AI spend, the field shows "Suggested from tracked AI spend:" followed by the amount instead of the plain description. The suggestion is for reference; it is not filled in for you.

Both fields accept any number.

Save#

  1. Change one or both values.
  2. Select Save. The button reads Saving… while it works.
  3. A Saved confirmation appears and the score at the top of the page updates.

Both values are saved together, so check each before you save. The WI Score is Output multiplied by A, divided by Workforce Cost, so a change to either figure changes the score immediately.
