Artifacts

View the reports, tools and dashboards a Coworker publishes in a conversation, in the pane or full screen.

For: Any signed-in user who can chat with a Coworker · Last updated

An artifact is a page a Coworker publishes during a conversation: a report, a small tool or a dashboard. Each artifact has a title and a version number. When the Coworker publishes an updated version of an artifact it already published, the version number goes up and the newest version is the one shown.

Open an artifact#

  1. Open the context pane.
  2. In the Artifacts section, select the artifact's title. The pane shows it, with the title and version, for example v2, above it.
  3. Select ← Back to return to the pane's sections.

A new artifact opens in the pane by itself the moment the Coworker publishes it. If the conversation has more than one artifact, a row of buttons above the open artifact lets you switch between them.

An artifact runs in an isolated frame. It cannot read your session or other pages in Workforce Intelligence.

Open an artifact full screen#

Select Full screen ⤢ above the artifact. The artifact fills the page, with a header that shows:

  • ← Back to chat, which returns you to the conversation it was published in
  • the artifact's title and version

If the artifact cannot be opened, the page says "This artifact isn't available." and offers ← Back to chat.

Who can open an artifact#

Artifacts belong to your company. You must be signed in, and an artifact can be opened only by people in the same company as the Coworker that published it. Anyone in your company who is signed in and has an artifact's address can open it full screen. The list of artifacts in the context pane appears only in conversations you own.
