The Apps directory
Browse the apps your company's Builders have shipped and see which ones you can reach.
Open Apps in the top navigation to see the app directory, headed The catalog. Apps are software your Builders ship on the platform. Each one moves through the same phases a Coworker does, and an app is found by its cohort when it is ready, not before.
What each card shows#
- the app's name and its phase: Interview, Internship, Apprenticeship, Full-Time or Sunset
- a short description
- Details, which opens the app's details page
- Open App, which appears when the app has been deployed. See Opening an app.
- a note on the right about the phase's visibility, such as "unlisted — builder only", "cohort only", "listed in directory" or "retired"
Retired apps are hidden. Tick Show retired Apps to include them; they appear dimmed.
Which apps you see#
What you see depends on each app's phase.

| Internship and Apprenticeship | Its Builder, administrators, anyone with the manage_apps ability, and the people in the app's current cohort for that phase |
| Full-Time | Everyone in the company. If the app is limited to Teams, the members of those Teams, its Builder, administrators and anyone with the manage_apps ability |
| Sunset | Everyone, as a retired record |
Apps in Interview are visible only to their Builder and administrators; the page notes at the bottom that they are visible only to their Builder. You see only apps in your own company.
If you have the admin ability or the manage_apps ability, a + Create App button
appears at the top. See Creating an app.
